Additional notes on Alexander Green:

There was a trial involving charges of murder against him and his five sons: Ullysses Sherman, Ellsworth Kimball, Hollister Sheridan, Willis, and Claence. Vicky Hunt has copy of the trial notes, and a book containing newspaper accounts of the entire trial.

Per the Mirror paper of MO of 1895, he dropped dead of Dropsy in his chair in Flat River MO. (Dropsy= when the body cavities fill with fluid). (note: This info has been confirmed however, he died prior to 0/5/1895, the date of the Steelville Mirror paper issue. Have not located actual burial location.)

From Crawford County history notes: Alex came from Knobview township, Dent county MO. He was there in 1880. Shortly afterward he came to Crawford County MO.

It is not known if Alexander died in 1895 for sure or where he died or where he is buried exactly. If you are related to our Alexander and know any other details of his life, please contact: Tali ushee@aol.com.
