Lee Walden Green was born in Cherryville MO on May 3, 1913 and died on May 23, 1984 in St. Louis County MO. He is buried in the New Saint Marcus cemetery in St. Louis County. Lee Walden met and married the love of his life on Mother's day in the year of 1932. The marriage lasted for three years. Lee was a drinker and was prone to fits of rage. After being separated from my Grandmother, Blanche Lavern Bittle, for two years, he and she remarried in 1937. They had their one and only child Beverly Green on November 21, 1939. She would prove to be Lee's only child. Lee worked as a sheet metal hauler and owned Green Br. Hauling Co. with his brother Willie Green.

Children of this couple:

Beverly Jane Green born November 21, 1939.

Vicky Hunt has Lee Green's birth and death certificates. Birth Certificate Number: 217275, born in Davisville MO of Crawford County. Born to Wesley Eugene Green and Martha Belle Yawberry. (both parents were born in MO) Lee evidently did not have a birth certificate and had to give evidence of his birth by showing the following: a Metropolitan Life Ins. Policy number 61 664 609, dated June 7, 1920. 2. School records from Madison School in St. Louis MO dated Sept 7, 1920. and 3. an affidavit of his sister Lena E. Stehle of St. Louis MO dated March 19th 1967.

Lee met and married Lucille and divorced her in 1959 when she failed to show up for the divorce hearings. She then returned to his household and remained with Lee up until his death on May 23, 1984. At the time of his death, Lucille proceeded to go to his safe deposit box and clear it out. Her children took control of the house that was suppose to be given to his Granddaughter, and his guns were taken from his second home and never returned as well as many other priceless family items.

Lee Walden Green's Great Grandson Jame Lee Hunt is named after him.
